Could Peyton Manning Play For The Dolphins In 2012?

With a $28 million dollar roster bonus due on March 8th the debate is on.

Could Peyton Manning play for the Dolphins in 2012?

There’s little about this that is sure. Everything ends with a question mark. Where will he play? Will his neck hold up? Did his injury happen because of the Saints “Bounty Gate”?

In the 2010 basketball off-season, South Beach was all the rage. But that’s never really been the case in football. The Dolphins have never replaced Dan Marino, and Peyton Manning would just be another band-aid in the short term. A Super Bowl title would be worth all the headaches of win at all cost now. Miami has two great players in left tackle Jake long and wide out Brandon Marshall. Armed with the 8th pick in the draft, the Dolphins should add more firepower. New head Coach Joe Philbin is an offensive minded coach, a plus for Manning. But Philbin is from Green Bay, where he spent the last few years working with Matt Flynn. Flynn’s a lot younger and more of a risk. The Dolphins will be a player in the Matt Flynn sweepstakes as well. Manning would put more fans in the seats which could mean more to the owners of the Dolphins. Florida is the retirement capital and could be adding one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

What do you think?

I am a Indiana fan of Payton Manning and will love him anywhere he goes, if its the Dolphins as I suspect it will be, he has 3 or 4 very good years left before he will retire and plenty of time to take the Dolphins to the Super Bowl several times, Dolphins have good recievers and can protect manning, so here we go, Payton for Miami, he also owns a condo in miami. Payton will have the intire Indiana state for his back, and will win the floridians over also, he is a great great Q/B.

The best thing about Peyton Manning going to the Dolphins? We are all guaranteed two Brady vs Peyton matchups every year. Thankfully, from everything I’ve read on http://www.peytonwatch.com it seems the Dolphins are the favorites.
