Dolphins Claim Former Titans WR Justin Hunter

Justin Hunter

The Dolphins have claimed former Titans receiver Justin Hunter, adding him to a receiver unit that has been thinned by injuries, Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Hunter, 25, who was selected in the second round of the 2013 draft by Tennessee, has started 13 games in his three seasons in the NFL.

The former University of Tennessee standout, who is 6 feet 4, 203 pounds, has caught 68 passes for 1,116 yards and scored eight touchdowns in his NFL career.

He caught eight passes for 87 yards in the preseason and phased out of the Titans’ depth chart after they added Harry Douglas, Andre Johnson and former Dolphin Rishard Matthews this offseason.
