The Dolphins running back spot got a little more crowded on Monday, as the team came to a deal with all-time Texans leading rusher Arian Foster on a one-year deal.
Foster, who was released by the Texans in March, rushed for 6,472 yards and 54 rushing touchdowns during his time with Houston.
Last season for Foster ended oddly enough against the Dolphins, as during that game he sustained an Achilles injury.
The flirt with Foster started when he visited the Dolphins in March on what was termed a medical visit. He had a follow-up visit on Monday, and the team felt he was good enough to go to ink to a deal.
Miami’s backfield with Foster also includes Jay Ajayi, Damien Williams and rookie Kenyan Drake.
