Center Mike Pouncey Has Hip Surgery, RB Moreno To Have Surgery On Knee

Mike Pouncey

The news today on the injury front for the Dolphins is awful. First off, center Mike Pouncey will miss time after he underwent hip surgery Monday.

The Miami Herald reports that he will miss at least three months, meaning he likely will be sidelined for at least the first two games of the regular season and potentially more.

The report by the Herald says that Pouncey could, if all things work in his favor, return for the Kansas City on September 28th in London.

There’s more injury news, as new RB Knowshon Moreno has been scheduled to undergo athroscopic surgery on his left knee and is out four to five weeks.

Moreno inked a one-year deal worth $3 million this offseason. He sustained a torn ACL in his right knee during the 2011 season, but this issue with the left knee isn’t nearly as serious.
