Report: Dolphins’ Cameron Wake to be Game-Time Decision in Week 5

The Dolphins’ defense missed Cameron Wake on Monday night in New Orleans.

According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake is no sure thing to play on Sunday versus the Ravens. Salguero is reporting that Wake will be a game-time decision for the second consecutive week.

Wake conducted a pre-game workout on Monday night in New Orleans, but his knee, which suffered an MCL sprain in Week 3, didn’t respond the way Miami was hoping it would and he was held out of the Dolphins’ first loss of the season.

The All-Pro pass rusher practiced this week at team headquarters in Davie, but was still limited. Miami’s opponent on Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens, have had difficulty protecting quarterback Joe Flacco through four games. If Wake is unable to play, it would be a missed opportunity for the Dolphins’ defense to potentially give Flacco fits all game.

The official injury report, which will reveal if Wake is questionable or probable for Sunday’s game, should be released on Friday.

Damn we need Wake back! Our pass rush dissappeared last week. Either play Wake or start D. Jordan. Time for the rookie to shine
