Game Day Open Thread: Dolphins vs. Buccaneers

The Miami Dolphins will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tonight at Sun Life Stadium in a matchup of two 7-9 teams from 2012 that are looking to turn the corner and make the playoffs this season. It should be a revealing game for Joe Philbin’s Dolphins, as the team’s starting units are expected to play into the second half.

Will Ryan Tannehill look the part of franchise quarterback? Will the Dolphins’ offensive line come together with John Jerry back in the lineup at right guard? How will a defense that has been impressive thus far, fare against an offense that finished in the top 10 last season?

We’ll find out soon.

Make this open thread your one stop for discussion throughout the evening and during tonight’s game. I’ll be here and on our twitter page @DolphinsGab to talk Dolphins football.

I’ve taken the liberty of posting a few questions in the comments section to get the conversation going. Feel free to answer those, pose some questions of your own, vent about your frustrations or give Dolphins fans reasons to be optimistic.

See you in the comments!
