According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Miami Dolphins have been in contact with free-agent quarterback Tyler Thigpen following the hand injury Pat Devlin sustained during Sunday night’s game.
Dolphins have had contact with former Fins QB Tyler Thigpen, who played for them in 2009 and 2010. P. Devlin suffered hand injury Sunday.

Thigpen, if you recall, previously played for the Dolphins during the 2009-2010 seasons, passing for 518 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions in six games and one start.
We’ll wait to see if the Dolphins offer Thigpen a contract, but this is probably bad news for third-team quarterback Pat Devlin. The coaching staff likes Devlin’s ability and wouldn’t consider replacing him unless his hand injury was serious.
