Miami Dolphins Rookie Hazing Tradition Continues

Anyone who watched HBO’s Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Miami Dolphins a year ago is familiar with how the team’s rookies are treated at camp. Last July, the Dolphins’ veteran defensive linemen hazed rookie defensive linemen by painting blonde streaks and various designs into their hair.

That ritual has apparently become a tradition in Miami. Veteran defensive tackle Randy Starks was kind enough to share the following photos via his twitter page @starks94.

As you can see, draft status doesn’t give anyone immunity. First-round pick Dion Jordan is even subject to a new hair style. Fortunately, it doesn’t look like anyone has had their eyebrows shaved off yet.
