The Dolphins are leaving no stone unturned in their search for a new offensive tackle. Some may call it desperation. Others may call it just doing their homework. But nevertheless, the Dolphins will be working out a pair of Winston’s tomorrow.
Eric Winston, who has been speculated as a possible fit in Miami ever since Jake Long signed with the Rams, will go through drills for the Dolphins’ front office and coaching staff in Davie on Wednesday. He’ll be joined by Winston Justice – a new addition to Miami’s rumored interests at the tackle position.
Justice is only 28 years old and actually did a solid job protecting Andrew Luck with the Colts last season before being hampered by injury.
The Dolphins are now apparently deciding between Eric Winston, Winston Justice, Bryant McKinnie, and Tyson Clabo – who they are reportedly meeting with and working out tonight. It’s anyone’s guess who they eventually sign, but expect the Dolphins to have a new tackle by the end of the week.
