Thomas Galicia, who is a guest writer for Bleacher Report, thinks the Miami Dolphins will beat the Rams this Sunday by a score of 23-6. He has even come up with 5 reasons why:
1 The Rams have no running game
2 The Miami defensive line is tougher than the Rams offensive line
3 Miami’s run defense and running game is better than the Rams
4 The Rams can’t handle Miami’s balanced offense
5 The Rams are not good on the road
Ok, let’s break this down Rams style:
1 On first pass he is correct. However, Rams starting running back Steven Jackson has been nursing a groin injury since game 1 against the Detroit Lions. Unlike last week, Steven is nowhere to be found on the Rams injury report. He participated in practice all week long. And since it was recently announced that SJ has had a contract renegotiation with the Rams, he is basically playing in a contract year. With a slow start to the season, SJ has something to prove. Plus the Jackson and Richardson tandem has been seen stealing the clock away from Rams opponents. Our running game may prove more difficult to contain than expected.
