The Dolphins are striking out every which way they turn in free agency when it comes to a quarterback, but Monday night they tried to make up for it.
the team Monday came to terms with free agent quarterback David Garrard, who has been out of the game for a year after being released last September by the Jaguars.
It’s not the first time Miami had taken a look at Garrard, as the Fins talked to him last October when starting quarterback Chad Henne suffered a season-ending injury to his non-throwing shoulder, but Garrard required surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back and sat out the remainder of the season.
Over his nine-year career with the Jaguars, the 34-year-old Garrard has completed 61.6 percent of his 2,281 pass attempts for 16,003 yards with 89 touchdowns, 54 interceptions and made one trip to the Pro Bowl (2009).

What kind of insane people get tbe honor & privilege to be a part of this organization & take a big dump on building it properly. I for 1 am saddened, disgusted, frustrated, & sick & tired of being a laughing stock team. We’re officially the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns of past & present years,.Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (of nearly always), & the New Orleans Saints (until Brees & Paeton got there). The future of our once proud & beloved Miami Dolphins looks pretty gruesome & clerk for many years to come. PATHETIC, IDIOTS RUNNING THE SHOW IN MIAMI
