Dolphins Along with Partners, Scoop Up Tickets for Sunday

The Dolphins announced that they, along with local partners, have purchased the remaining available tickets for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins, avoiding a local television blackout.

The tickets will be distributed to current military personnel and veterans, and as a reward to current premium season-ticket holders.

“It is with great pride and gratitude that we provide complimentary tickets to our troops and veterans for Sunday’s contest as part of our annual Salute to Service military game. These tickets are a small token of appreciation to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country,” Dolphins CEO Mike Dee said. “In addition to the military, we will also reward our premium members and those members who have not yet been able to receive additional tickets.”

The last Dolphins home game to be blacked out on local television was on October 18, 1998.
