2010 Look Back – Pats Dominate Dolphins 41-14 in Miami

The Pats came to Miami and laid a whoopin on the Fins in today’s 2010 Look back, as the Dolphins woes at home continued in a 41-14 loss.

Well that was an embarrassment. Seriously. Right now I cannot even comprehend what the Dolphins must have been covering during practice this week. Did they think they were playing the Buffalo Bills this week? If they did they got a serious wake-up call in the second half of this game, and after, when they saw the scoreboard read 41-14 in favor of the Pats.

The Patriots put up an onslaught of points in a very short amount of time to bury the Fins for good in the third quarter of this one, thanks in large part to two special teams touchdowns, and a blocked punt that gave the Patriots the ball inside the red-zone, and eventually led to a 12 yard touchdown run by Pats running back Benjarvis Green-Ellis.

What concerns me most of all is the unorganization of this team right now. The Dolphins dominated the Pats in almost every statistical category that you could imagine, except for the three big ones, the amount of touchdowns, turnovers, and who came away with the win.

I could go on a complete rant on this team, but instead I’ve decided to seperate my anger into position-by-position analysis, so here we go:

Quarterback:

Chad Henne actually beat Tom Brady in yardage tonight. Based on the Dolphins gameplan it looked like they were willing to allow Henne to try and outshoot Brady in a shootout, and that did not even come close to happening.
