Marshall Won’t Cooperate With Police In Investigation

Brandon Marshall has run an end route, refusing to cooperate with prosecutors’ investigation of the incident where his wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was arrested for stabbing the Miami Dolphins wide receiver. Although she’s charged with aggravated battery and has claimed self-defense and was assigned a no-contact order preventing her from having contact with Marshall, the case might ultimately fall apart, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

“Despite numerous efforts, we so far have been unable to get Mr. Marshall to agree to voluntarily speak to our office about the incident,” the Broward State Attorney’s office said in a statement. “We continue to diligently pursue this matter.” Added Marshall lawyer Harvey A. Steinberg: “Brandon didn’t ask for the no contact order, has never felt threatened by his wife, and misses her. When [they] drop the no contact order he’ll be more than willing to sit down and discuss this matter, bringing some clarity to this unfortunate misunderstanding.”
