Dolphins get tackle/guard Pat McQuistan from Cowboys

The Fins made a deal with their favorite “other” team, as they got Pat McQuistan from the Cowboys on Friday.

The Cowboys made a second trade today, shipping Pat McQuistan to Miami for an undisclosed 2011 draft pick. McQuistan will be reunited with Tony Sparano, Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland, who were with the Cowboys when McQuistan was drafted. McQuistan spent time at guard and tackle during his time with the Cowboys but the team felt it was time to move on to some younger linemen. He was scheduled to make $1.1 million this year.
