Marshall Addresses Drops With Humor

Earlier in the week, new Miami Dolphins star receiver Brandon Marshall punted a ball that he dropped in the endzone, which would have been a touchdown.

Throughout the rest of the week, media and fans were watching Marshall’s every move after the show of emotion. But for the past two days, Marshall has showed his true feelings on all of the extra attention with his sense of humor.

Before addressing the media today, Marshall called for a football, then proceeded to punt it. After leaving the stand, many media members were admiring his ability to have fun, laughing after the event took place.

As far as the case of the drops that Marshall has been suffering from ever since the teams first pre-season game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Marshall had this to say:

When I’m frustrated in practice, I’m going to be frustrated,” he said. “Now in the game it’s a different story; I think in the game you don’t want to give your opponent that edge so you try to control your emotions but in practice you want to compete and you want to get better.

Hopefully Marshall gets over his sickness, in time for the third pre-season game next Thursday, where the first unit will be showcased most of the game.
