Highway Patrol Still Waiting to Hear from Hartline About Accident

The Sun Sentinel reports that the Highway Patrol is still waiting to hear from WR Brian Hartline on the situation involving his pickup truck that was involved in an accident:

The Florida Highway Patrol is still waiting to hear from Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline, three weeks after his pickup truck was involved in an early morning accident according to Mike Berardino of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. “Nothing new at all,” FHP Sgt. Mark Wysocky said Monday morning. “We’re still waiting to hear from him. . . . We’re basically in a holding pattern to see if he’s going to contact us.” FHP continues to investigate who was driving Hartline’s 2008 Ford pickup truck at the time of the 4:30 a.m. crash. According to the incident report, the truck collided with an abandoned 2002 Cadillac Escalade just east of Interstate 95 and had to be towed away. “We tried to go to him that night, of course, but he wasn’t home, as the initial report said,” said Wysocky.
