WR Brian Hartline’s Truck Abandoned After Crash

National Football Post reports that a truck that belonged to WR Brian Hartline was abandoned after a crash earlier on Tuesday:

A pickup truck registered to Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline was abandoned following a crash earlier this month, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Hartline’s Ford 2008 pickup truck allegedly crashed into an abandoned 2002 Cadillac Escalade at 4:30 a.m. on July 3, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

“His vehicle ran off road and hit the parked car,” FHP Sgt. Mark Wysocky said. “We don’t know who was driving the vehicle.” Per the report, a state trooper went to Hartline’s house in Fort Lauderdale after the crash.

Hartline wasn’t home, though. When Hartline’s wife was contacted by police, the call was returned by Hartline’s lawyer, who communicated that Hartline wasn’t injured.

And troopers haven’t heard from Hartline since the crash. No citations have been issues. The Dolphins had no immediate comment.
