LeBron To Heat: Does This Impact the Fins?

Last night, Lebron James announced that he would be signing with the Miami Heat in this years free agency, and leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In all of sports history, this may have been one of the most anticipated announcements ever. It was long speculated which team Lebron would sign with, heck, for three years these rumors were going around in anticipation, and now it is finally over.

The city of Miami has landed King James, and with it, the sports world in Miami is suddenly star studded, and the city of Miami is alive.

LEBRON IS COMING!!!!!

This means finally a bona-fide superstar is coming to this city, the first since Dan Marino!

It also just so happens that the Dolphins are an up and coming team, and have much hype surrounding them as to what they will be able to accomplush this upcoming season.

The Fins added both Brandon Marshall, whose arrival was much hyped as well, and Karlos Dansby, who was a big time free agent acquisition.

While the Heat have gotten their guy in James, it will most likely impact the Fins at all. Sure it will draw media attention to the city now, and possibly draw more revenue to the team, it will in no way garner the Fins more wins or anything that relates to actual football.

So all of you football fans out there…..LeBron shouldn’t bring down your world. He also will not brighten your day either if you like to watch strictly basketball. This man is here to play basketball, and win a championship, or two, or three, or four, and that is it. No football impact unfortunately.

But maybe (definitely) Brandon Marshall will have to move over as the current big dog in town, regardless of what Dwayne Wade has done on the court.
