Marshall Picks Number Officially, While Practicing For the First Time

On his first day of practicing with the team, Brandon Marshall made a big announcement. Despite only catching a couple throws from Chad Henne, and the majority from a machine, Marshall was nevertheless working out with the team, on the last day of this weeks OTA’s.

Besides the news that the star receiver is practicing with the team after the announcement that he had hip surgery on what was considered his “good” hip, Marshall had something else for the media to announce.

Marshall will indeed be wearing the number 19, after it was reported that the number may only be temporary.

Now that the number is official, fans can now start to forget the last player to wear the number, Ted Ginn. Hopefully the number is not a jinx for Marshall.
