Dolphins To Move Randy Starks To Nose Tackle

General manager Jeff Ireland announced in his press conference tonight that defensive end Randy Starks will be the new starting nose tackle for the Dolphins this year.

“We’ve played Starks there last season a little bit. When he was in there he was very good. Body type to be a nose. Very powerful.” “He’s 305-310. He’s about where Fergie is. Fergie is boxier, lower”

This means that 1st round pick Jared Odrick will replace Starks as the starting right defensive end in his rookie year.

Suddenly the Odrick move makes even more sense!
