Dolphins Add Linebackers Coach

The Dolphins have moved quickly in adding one of the missing links to their defensive staff.

Today the Trifecta added scorned New York Giants defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan to their linebacking staff.

Adding a dynamo like this to staff, in my opinion, gives someone the players can relate to, and a guy that is passionate about his job, and how his players represent himself. While most coaches are like this, Sheridan just have a new exciting feel to him that I just did not receive from some of the other coaches on the team.

Before Sheridan was the defensive coordinator of the Giants, he was their linebackers coach as well, so he does have some experience at the job.

Now the Dolphins need to take care of two more empty positions on the defensive staff before the start of the Senior Bowl practices, before they can call their staff complete.

The National Football Post, who broke the story, reported that it is unknown at this point whether Sheridan will be coaching the inside or outside linebackers.
