As a Saints all-in fan, I have to offer a view on the Dolphin loss to us this past Sunday. Make no mistake, I think Rickey Williams still runs with the vision of a bong in his head, but run? Yes he can.
From the TV, it looked like the Dolphins made a halftime adjustment to get away from the game plan that was kicking us up and down the field. Why leave the wildcat for a scheme that the Saints have pasted for the previous 5 games?
Did the Saints last minute/second first half score scare the coaching staff? I really don't get it but I am glad they did it. Not very smart, IMO.
I can think of no better group to sink the image of the unbeaten 72 Dolphins than the 2009 Saints, and, they may have done it with the major help of the franchise that has long carried the "unbeaten season" banner. Oh yea, and we should be back to remind you all about it at the Superbowl.
Good luck with your coaching staff. The players deserve better coaching decisions. What about it Parcells?
