The Fins have inked first-round pick CB Vontae Davis:

Dolphins first-round CB Vontae Davis will show up on time to training camp after reportedly agreeing on a contract. Terms of the deal are not immediately known.

The Illinois product was regarded as the most physically gifted cornerback in the 2008 draft and will compete with fellow draftee Sean Smith and veteran newcomer Eric Green for the starting job opposite Will Allen.

With Davis under contract, second-round QB Pat White and fifth-round S Chris Clemons are Miami’s only draftees without deals. Rookies and veterans are due to report to camp on Sunday.
