The Dolphins went the entire 2008 season without a nationally televised game. They’ll get four such chances in 2009, beginning with a Week 2 game in which they’ll host the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football.
The Dolphins are 0-3 lifetime against Houston, though they came within a Matt Schaub QB draw on fourth down for victory last season. Andre Johnson torched Miami with 10 catches, 178 yards and a touchdown, so this Week 15 game vs. the Texans will be a good test for Miami’s new-look secondary.
Will Jets fans ever get used to seeing Chad Pennington in a Dolphins jersey? They’ll find out on Monday Night Football in Week 5. Last season, New York took Week 1, but the Dolphins returned the favor by keeping Gang Green out of the postseason in Week 17.
