Dolphins Close to Signing Raiders Center Jake Grove

According to Jeff Darlington at the Miami Herald, the Miami Dolphins are close to finalizing a deal for Raiders center Jake Grove. Grove, who stands in at six foot four inches and tips the scale at 300 pounds is seen as the likely starter in 2009 for the Dolphins, should the deal get done. He started 8 games for the Raiders in 2008, and missed some action due to calf injury. Barring any unforeseen setbacks, the deal should be completed sometime on Tuesday.

So is Jake Grove a good buy?

Jason Brown got 7.5 million a year and 20 mil guaranteed and we paid 6 mil a year with 14 guaranteed for a guy who’s only managed to play a full season once.

    Am I missing something?
