Fins Have Three Options w/ Franchise Tag

Thursday’s Sun Sentinel talks about the possible options that the Fins have with their franchise tag:

Thursday marked the first day that teams could place a franchise tag on key players who are due to become unrestricted free agents so that they could maintain control over them for at least another year. Of the Dolphins unrestricted free agents, only tackle Vernon Carey, linebacker Channing Crowder or safety Yeremiah Bell have a legitimate chance of receiving the franchise tag.

    Never really cared for Vernon Carey, He was meant to be our anchor a long time ago, and has not really been impressive. Lets get someone in there that makes us say wow.
