WR Wilford Says His Lack of Production is Due to the Coaches

A memorable season for the Dolphins was a forgettable one for high-priced free agent wide receiver Ernest Wilford. Wilford, who earned $7 million this season, felt like he didn’t receive a fair chance. “That’s on them,” he said. “They never gave me an opportunity. It’s all in their hands now. Hey, we’ll see what happens.” Wilford rarely made it off the bench and never made an impact, finishing the season with three catches for 25 yards in only seven appearances.
