Huizenga Says Parcells Set to Stay in Miami

From: Yahoo! Sports

Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga told the Sun-Sentinel that Bill Parcells will remain in his role as the team’s executive vice president of football operations. “Bill’s going to stay,” Huizenga said. “He told me (Friday) he’s going to stay. He said he likes it here.” Although Parcells just completed the first of a four-year contract with Miami, he had an opt-out clause that would allow him to leave after one season while still getting paid the entire $12 million left on his contract if the team was sold. Huizenga’s sale of the team to billionaire Stephen Ross is near completion, upon which Parcells will have 30 days to exercise the opt-out clause.
