RB Brown Likely to Miss Saturday’s Game with Thumb Injury
It appears that RB Ronnie Brown will miss Saturday’s preseason game vs the Chiefs with his strained right thumb. “It’s nothing major. It just hurts a little when I try to make catches and stuff,” Brown said earlier in the week. “I’ll be fine when the regular season rolls around.” It’s been a tough week for Brown, who was pushed back to the backup RB role behind Ricky Williams. Coach Tony Sparano said today that it appears unlikely that Brown will play. He was hurt early in the teams 19-14 win over the Jags last Saturday night in Jacksonville.
