It was a tough season for Joey Porter in 2007 for the Dolphins, as the usually voiceful linebacker had a rather quiet year as did the team going 1-15. 2008 is a new beginning, and Porter is already stating that being back to being an OLB in the Fins 3-4 defense is a role he is looking forward to. “I’m telling you, I’m honestly happy with the defense now,” Porter told the Miami Herald. “If I don’t do what I’m supposed to, then you fire up the pistol and beat me up in the media.” Last season Porter played in all 16 games, making 66 total tackles, 5.5 sacks and two picks.
