Parcells Downplays Jason Taylor Rumors

Dolphins V.P. Bill Parcells is firing back against rumors that Jason Taylor might soon be on his way out.  Several media outlets have reported that the defensive end and the Dolphins have agreed to part ways some time before the April 26th NFL Draft.  But during an appearance on ESPN’s “Sunday Morning,” Parcells denied there was any truth to the rumor that Taylor might be traded.  He added the 11-year Fins veteran would be on the team in 2008 unless he chose to retire.  Earlier this year, the Dolphins waived Taylor’s brother-in-law, seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Zach Thomas.
