Posted in In just one of a million mock drafts that will come out between now and draft day, here’s one take from www.NFLSmackdown.com, which has the Fins at #1 taking Virginia DE Chris Long. Here is the summary:
Miami Dolphins- Chris Long (Defensive End, Virginia)
I have given Chris Long a lot of thought and have decided to give him the nod here, over Dorsey simply because Long has no off field baggage of any kind and is a much harder worker off the field. Chris Long offers the Dolphins a very quick and talented pass rusher, who plays with a good motor and has a great work ethic, the kind of player Bill Parcells loves. Miami is in need of youth and playmakers up front, and Long fits both these bills and could have the immediate impact the Dolphins 3-4 defense needs.
