Dolphins Snag Sparano As Head Coach

Ireland and Sparano

Tony Sparano is the new head coach of the Dolphins.  He is the eighth head coach in team history.  Sparano held the title of assistant head coach/offensive line with the Dallas Cowboys this past season.  He replaces Cam Cameron, who was fired after leading the Dolphins to a francise-worst 1-and-15 record.  It was his debut season as Miami’s head coach.  Sparano follows new vice president Bill Parcells and general manager Jeff Ireland to the Fins.  Parcells was the Cowboys head coach two years ago and Ireland spent seven years with the Dallas organization.  The ‘Boys were upset in the NFC Divisional Playoffs this weekend by the New York Giants.
