The Miami Dolphins today signed defensive end Jorge Cordova. Cordova had been released by Jacksonville on Monday. To make room on the roster for Cordova, the Dolphins placed offensive tackle Joe Toledo (foot) on their Reserve/PUP list.
Cordova, 25, was a third-round draft choice of the Jaguars in 2004. After spending his [...]
WR Chambers on the Trading Block?
The Dolphins may be looking to move wide out Chris Chambers according to Adam Schefter of NFL Network. Chambers is the veteran of the wide out core along with Marty Booker, but if the Dolphins can get a third round pick for him, they would be willing to talk about moving him. Two seasons ago [...]

A few tasty sprinkles were added to what has been a vanilla offense for the Miami Dolphins in Saturday night’s 31-28 preseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With all of his starters in on both sides of the ball for the first time, Head Coach Cam Cameron gave the paid crowd of 65,660 a sneak [...]

The Dolphins have made it official, as today they named Trent Green as the teams starting quarterback for their season opener vs the Redskins on September 9th. KANSAS CITY – Maybe it was by design, but Trent Green’s return to Kansas City was handled rather quietly Thursday night, with no player introduction and no major fan reaction surrounding his first series with Miami’s offense.
He did receive a nice a nice ovation while he was in the tunnel prior [...]
Some Spots Settled, Some Up for Grabs for Fins
The Dolphins are still going through the process of putting the pieces together for their 2007 roster, and there are some positions that are still up for grabs:
Tight End - David Martin seems to have the love of his new QB Trent Green going for him, and while the team grabbed Courtney Anderson and put [...]
Dolphins Win 18-17 Despite Green and the Offense’s Slow Start
Not exactly the best of starts for Trent Green and the Dolphins #1 offense in their 18-17 preseason win over the Jags. Green was less than impresive, and there is much work to be done if Miami is going to make any sort of noise this season in the AFC East. Green seemed out of [...]

Dolphins camp on Monday saw no Ronnie Brown, which was expected as the third-year back was excused from workouts to attend his uncle’s funeral. A few players did get nicked up in Monday’s practice. The first of which was linebacker Channing Crowder, who left the field about an hour into practice for reasons unknown. Right [...]
