Chambers

Sources are reporting that receiver Chris Chambers passed a breathalyzer test following his arrest early Saturday morning in Charlotte for driving while impaired, reckless driving and speeding.  The receiver was taken in at 2:31am
and later released on $1,750 bond. He is set to appear in court today.  The arrest is the first time in Chambers’ tenure with Miami he has come under any legal trouble.

If it is true that Chambers passed the breathalyzer test, then it is unlikley that the league would hand down any sort of punishment against Chambers.  If anything, the Dolphins may fine him for the arrest, but even that is uncertain at this point.  The team has already had to deal with the arrest of new LB Joey Porter this offseason, as well as the two arrests and then release of defensive tackle Fred Evans.
