Dolphins Waive Dan Wilkinson

The Miami Dolphins Monday terminated the contract of veteran defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson, who failed to attend any of the team’s offseason minicamps, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.  It is believed Wilkinson, 34, has retired after 13 seasons.  The Dolphins tried trading him to Denver in March, but he never reported, voiding the sixth-round compensation.
